Wholeness
from the Center
This painting recalls a symbol etched in the cliffs of Arizona by a Hopi artist. It tells of a great journey of purification extending to the far reaches of North, South, East and West in the Americas. The return was to a central home representing the wholeness of all Creation.
The migrations required trust in the guiding hand of the Creator and release of orientation in the material world. Guidance on this Road of Life was ever-present as long as people kept the tops of their heads open, and sang praises to the Creator every single day.
